because you deserve a good church…

I’m Just Visiting…

We want you to feel right at home the moment you come see us, so before you do, feel free to read more about us, to learn what we do and why. Our goal is to follow the first century example of Christianity, as described in the New Testament. That said, it’s been two-thousand years since that example was given. A lot has changed. Some things in our daily walk with Jesus have changed too, but the timeless things have remained the same.

Watch This…

Looking for a sermon? Interested in studying the Bible online? We are slowly adding a library of videos breaking down books of the Bible and a wide variety of Biblical topics.

Sunday Nights at VCC

We are not just a church family that only gets together for an hour a week. We are a church family that loves each other’s company.
We are a family that eats together, studies together, spends time together, trains up our children together, and works together to help the world around us…

Bible Q&A

Every Second Sunday of the month, at 5pm, we gather to examine (and, hopefully, answer) Bible questions submitted by our members. Is there a question that’s always bothered you? You’re probably not alone. Write it down, send it our way, and let’s talk about it!

“Let’s eat!”

Every First Sunday of the month, after morning worship, we eat a meal together as a family. After that we worship again with songs and a devotional before concluding for the day. There is no better expression of fellowship and brotherly love than to break bread together. Join us and bless us with your company!

Growth Groups

Every Third Sunday of the month, at 5pm, we disperse around town, gathering in each others’ homes for a time of fellowship and Bible study. Bible classes do not need to be stuffy and formal to be deep and engaging. Join us and be encouraged!

Led by the
“Little Sheep”

Every Fourth Sunday of the month, at 5pm, we turn our services over to our young men to lead singing, prayers, and Scripture readings. We are training the next generation of teachers, preachers, and spiritual leaders, and watching their development is a joy for us all!

Bonus Sundays…

Our Fifth Sunday PM activities vary throughout the year. Sometimes we have more time together to sing and pray, sometimes we work on a community service project, or we engage in activities designed to encourage our brethren.

The News is Good

The “news” is usually “bad,” assuming what you’re watching is current events and world affairs. People are angry. People are fighting. People are dying. You can’t go three minutes on a 24/7 News channel without sighing in angst.

Turn it off.

Turn on TNG: The News is Good. Throughout the week, we will release short and sweet Bible-themed videos, designed to remind us how sweet it is to be a child of God. Some videos will be motivational devotionals, some will be short, in-depth studies of a Bible idea, but always will you walk away having grown a little closer to God and a little further away from the depressing news cycle that dominates the world today.

The news doesn’t have to be bad; it’s been “good” for two-thousand years. See for yourself!
