This year’s theme is built around a fundemental truth, but it’s phrased in such a way that you will either say it honestly or insincerely. “I Need Thee Every Hour.” Do you? Don’t say it if it isn’t so. When the midnight hour brings terror to your bed, is it the Lord you call on? When the morning hour brings anxiety and stress, is it the Lord you look to for relief? When the hour of temptation comes your way, is it the Lord’s hand you reach to for deliverance? We do need Jesus. Every hour we need Him. But not everyone believes it. Hopefully, by the time we finish the year, we all will sing that beautiful old hymn, and mean every word of it.
